Neither the trailer nor the announcement is especially thorough, but that doesn’t really matter because Warhaven would be holding an open beta beginning on October 12, so if you’re at all interested-and I think it looks good enough to warrant at least a look-you can just jump in and see for yourself. And there are aspects of divinity even in human form: players who die during combat can be revived by teammates and choose to respawn quickly near surviving allies. Slashing and bashing are parts of the Warhaven experience, but players are also able to change into mighty, god-like Immortals, unleashing devastating attacks that can turn the tide of battle in an instant. Within their teams, groups of up to four players can form squads, with no restrictions on experience or level: Nexon asserted that a skilled veteran can team up with newcomers “to increase the accomplishments of all squad members.” 
Warhaven will initiate with six major characters, each with its collection of weapons and abilities. It was revealed earlier this month with a trailer that did remind me of Chivalry with a dash of For Honor and a modicum of JRPG color, and while there’s no release date yet, a beta test is coming in October and everyone is invited. Nexon is going to develop Warhaven, a “visceral medieval-fantasy sword fight experience” that will pit teams of 16 players against one another in brutal battles with blades, bows, and magic. Nexon’s next multiplayer head-bashing game appears to be a mix of Chivalry and For Honor.
